3.1.1. Definities
3.1.1.1. Acute toxiciteit houdt in dat de stof of het mengsel bij eenmalige of kortstondige blootstelling via de mond, huid, of luchtwegen zeer schadelijk is voor de gezondheid (d.w.z. dodelijk).
3.1.1.2. De gevarenklasse acute toxiciteit is onderverdeeld in:

acute orale toxiciteit;
—
acute dermale toxiciteit;
—
acute toxiciteit bij inademing.
